ExoMira Medicine is proud to announce that Joshua R. Squires, MS, Data Scientist and AI Specialist, and Dr. Andrew Hoffmann, Chief Scientific Officer, were awarded the Top Poster Award at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Inaugural Special Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, held in Montreal, Canada.

Their poster, titled “Deep Learning enables identification of cell types and clusters (iCTC) in immune tumor ecosystems for prognostic assessment in cancer”, was selected as one of the best among an international pool of computational oncology research. The work showcases how state-of-the-art deep learning approaches can enhance the understanding of immune landscapes in tumors, with potential to improve patient stratification and prognostic evaluation across cancer types.
