ExoMira Medicine is pleased to announce that scientific co-founder Huiping Liu, MD, PhD, was an invited speaker at the FASEB Science Research Conference on Cellular Plasticity in Cancer, held on May 7, 2025, in Hong Kong, China. The event was chaired by esteemed cancer researchers Drs. Stephanie Ma, Justin Lathia, and Vivian Li, and brought together international leaders in tumor biology and metastasis.

Dr. Liu delivered a keynote presentation titled “Plasticity of Circulating Tumor Cell Clusters in Tumor Immune Ecosystem and Metastasis,” exploring the dynamic behaviors of circulating tumor cell (CTC) clusters and their interactions with the immune microenvironment. Her research provides valuable insights into mechanisms of immune evasion and metastatic spread, areas that are central to ExoMira’s therapeutic mission and the development of its lead candidate, MIRA-1.
